Under construction.

Philosophical Blurb:
American youth are bored in the midst of an entertainment culture. They are over stimulated and presented with far more options than they can actually manage. Nothing is ever good enough, big enough, fun enough, etc. Youth tend to be unproductive and apathetic. They usually don’t know what to do with themselves in general nor what they will do with themselves in the future. They just jump from one entertainment sedative to another in order to pass the time. Youth in America tend to be programmed by the world particularly through media. The number one tactic is to appeal to the fleshly nature since this is the easiest and surest way to satisfy customers. This accounts for our moral decadence. All day long media bombards them with “try me,” “touch this,” “buy this,” “it’s ok if it feels good,” “look at this,” “you’ll be cool if you’re like this,” etc, etc. And all the while the continuous flood of junk desensitizes their moral sense.
My conviction is that Jesus is the ultimate pleasure that these youth so incessantly seek. They search and search but find that this is only a dry and weary land where there is no water (Ps63:1). They are hungry for something that this world cannot offer them. Many of them are not even aware of this hunger because they cannot get still for even a moment to recognize the void within their own soul. They are clamoring and grabbing at any and everything they can get their hands on in order to fill that void. They go to movies, rent movies, play mega graphic video games, and waste away watching MTV all in the attempt to find something that could actually fascinate them for more than just a few moments. All the while Jesus is the only one that can fascinate their dead and weary souls. The seraphs around his throne never tire of crying out how holy he truly is. They are endlessly amazed with his awesome transcendence. He is completely other than anything else created, and the angels never cease to see new facets of who he is. Jesus told us to pray that it would be here on earth as it is in heaven. God desires to capture the youth of America with the beauty of his glory. He wants them to become fascinated and enamored with His infinite and unsearchable presence.
